🔥 SURE LIGHTING A FIRE UNDER YOUR @SS MIGHT HELP, BUT NOT FOR LONG 🔥

During some of my NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) training a discussion was brought up about research which proves that when it comes to achieving goals, pain is a stronger motivator than pleasure.  Sounds kind of crazy, right?  Aren’t we all just trying to be as happy, calm, relaxed and positive all the time?  Why would pain be a better motivator?  Here is the interesting part, while pain is like a turbo charged motivator, it actually dies out once there is any sort of relief.

An example that was used was:
Tina says “Hey, do you plan to get out of your seat to clean up around the house?”

Connie replies, “In a little bit.”

Then the chair suddenly burst into flames?  And you can imagine Connie was out of that seat in a flash!

Silly example, but I think it illustrates the point well enough J

What is interesting about all of this is that although pain is a stronger motivator and that pleasure isn’t as strong a motivator because it lacks an initial intensity, what pleasure does have is longevity.

What would pleasure mean in this context? A simple way to explain it would be a compliment to your values or alignment of what matters most to you.   It keeps you inspired - it connects to your big why.

Have you ever spent time really considering what your core values are?

I hadn’t done it in depth until approx. 7 years ago when I had the privilege to train with John Assaraf.

Then, again when I became certified in the Passion Test about years ago, there was an even deeper level of awareness and appreciation for their importance. To describe The Passion Test – it is a process that highlights your passions and sorting them with your values to help you move toward your most fulfilling life.  The experience is much more surprising than one might expect.

So why do your core values matter so much?

They have everything to do with what makes you feel happy, fulfilled, miserable, stressed, etc.

Not living in alignment with them can cause anxiety, depression and lack of drive.

Living in alignment can cultivate vitality, creativity, fun and a zest for life!

They are what can motivate you, inspire you, help you make important decisions, as well as find and live your passions.

I am so passionate about this topic that I created a super simple, online, self-study course that not only helps you determine your core values, it also helps you use this knowledge to easily and quickly improve life.  I touch on goals, affirmations, and a few other fun subjects too.

My plan is to relaunch this course to include videos and more content, maybe even live Q&A sessions. Right now, it includes audio, written content and a printable workbook.

Before the relaunch (and the price goes up), I am offering discounted access to the current version.  What is even more awesome is that, you will have access to the updated version as soon as it is launched at no additional cost.  Another perk to getting in now is that it gives you the opportunity to share feedback and ask any questions you may have so I can address them in the upgrades of the new version.

Some things my students have shared:
One shared: “After True Happiness, I consider my values before all big decisions.  I can tell how it is helping me choose based on what is best for me and my long term fulfillment not just instant gratification.”

Another explained “I feel so much more confident and respectful of my own boundaries because now I see how much my wavering boundaries, and resentment from it, was causing stress for me and my family.”

And another said, “It really helped me to see what I needed to be doing more of and needed to do less of which helped me maintain focus, calm and happiness.”

I’m offering you the course for $37 and remember you will have access to the relaunched version and any updates that occur after that.  It will be relaunching at $249

So now is the perfect time!  Message me if you want in!
